About NDC

Since 2001, the National Institutes of Health [NINDS and ORD] have funded an annual symposium series titled Neurobiology of Disease in Children (NDC), which is funded through 2015. The principal investigator of the conference series is Dr. Bernard L. Maria at Georgia Health Sciences University.

The conference series has been very successful by presenting state-of-the-art aspects of an important neurological condition in children while engaging the most accomplished investigators in the field, young investigators, a large group of child neurologists, representative lay organizations, and the NIH to identify future directions and research priorities.
